This is another spinoff of 'Meridian Jinchuriki' that you should read first. Naruto and Will meet Azulongmon, who tells them about the crisis that will happen soon. He gives them their own Digi-Partners, D-Powers and Modify cards to fight with. They have quite an adventure on their hands, and make many friends and enemies along the way.
