Ghost was like any other. Hopeless without a Risen. Maria was like anyone else. Normal. Lightless. They were inseparable. So, when Sagira dies and Osiris appears to grieve the loss, Maria does all she can to prove herself as a Guardian, Light or no Light. When newcomers are accepted in the City Maria is driven to help.
