This is my own take on what happened in Season Three. What if Elena left with Jeremy so that they could start their lives over? It's ten years later and Elena is living a new life but when someone from her past comes back it threatens to destroy everything she has tried to rebuild. This is an alternate reality story. Very heavy Damon/Elena with some Stefan thrown in. ENJOY!
