the face in the darkness

by the time I realised what I had done, it was too late, my car door was closed and I had my car key in the ignition and my headlights shining bright into the darkness. I drove off with the same thoughts going round in my head over and over again . should i go back? should i just carry on living my life? should i go to the police? should i just forget about it? argh im going crazy!
