Summary
A familiar scene - a sealed room on an ancient ship, containing a red sword. But Rex isn't the one to touch it. A sort-of AU where Nia is the Aegis's driver. Some things play out similarly, others not so much, as the world gradually begins to spiral in a slightly different direction.
