As summer draws to a hot and sticky ending, a new café-concert singer performing under the name La Suedoise holds the imagination of Paris in her golden hands. Little does the city know of the strange music that lives in her head. Little does the city expect what will happen when such music confronts the young chanteuse in front of a packed audience.
