Luz Noceda is called to a small island in the Atlantic in order to investigate the disappearance of a woman named Eda Clawthorne, but as she learns more about the island's dark history, she quickly finds herself ensnared in a web of intrigue that seems to be emanating from the island's most influential family and their youngest daughter: Amity Blight.
