A damaged and reluctant Astra Militarum captain is sent to a tiny oceanic world to marshall local Imperial forces fighting a losing war against traitor astartes. (My attempt to write an authentic-feeling w40k story only where Militarum characters fight space marines the way real soldiers might actually might do).
