King of Thieves

Slight AU Shmuel, a Hebrew slave, is saved one day by Nekhtamin, a boy who says that he will become the greatest thief in all of Egypt. This is a story about the consequences of being powerless in a ruthless world and the despair of those whose lives are stolen by the cruel whims of the Heavens and their messengers.
