An alternate take on a scene in chapter 13 of Dark Refrain. What if Rian had decided he was not responsible for Brea's life choices? It wasn't his fault the All-Maudra couldn't understand the humans to take the choice into her own hands. So, Rian decides to take the scruffy human's drink offer, passing it along to Brea. She was old enough to drink alcoholic beverages, right?
