Once Upon A Christmas

Hermione made herself a mug of mulled wine and settled comfortably in her favorite chair before the fireplace. She closed her eyes and soon drifted off in a state of sleepy haze, still wishing for a miracle to happen. She did not notice Professor Snape reappearing in his frame above the mantelpiece and watching over her sleeping form with a mixture of concern and hope.
