AU. Modern. Peeta Mellark lost Katniss three years ago from a Taliban attack while serving in the Army. Now retired return to New York City as he tries to somewhat move on until he hears 'The Hanging Tree Song' sung by a brunette young woman and turning it's his suppose 'dead' wife; Katniss. Only she has no memories of who he is and Peeta wanting to know, How is she alive?
