One-shot set likely between Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. What if, at the end of the first Super Mario Galaxy, Peach managed to avoid Rosalina's memory wipe of the final battle between Mario and Bowser by hiding, but by chance she inadvertently chose the Comet Observatory to hide in and found herself caught out hiding by Rosalina?
