Summary
In the summer of 1980, Marlene McKinnon strikes a deal with a demon. But in 1981, when that same demon finds her and her family dead, he adopts her daughter as per their agreement, only to be thrown into a world as similar and different from his own as it gets, and he soon realises just what kind of deal he made.
