This chapter of The Heart's series focuses on Pete and his desire to find his One. He wants what Myka has with Helena, but he fears he will never find it. Following an accident with an artifact that alters reality, a reality where for a brief moment Pete and Myka think they're in love, Pete gives up on finding his One.
