Faith

Strange things have always happened around Freak. But none more so than this. He wakes upon the kitchen floor, tiny hands in blood and egg. His "aunt" lay before him, mouth open in a silent scream as her face smokes. Blood pools around her. Fear grips Freak's heart. For she has no eyes, only empty chasms where they once were. The storm rages. A whisper, "I am with you my son."
