Phoebe was adopted. That is the story every child was told, but not Phoebe. She was told that her parents died and the Headmaster decided to drop her off on the porch of an unsuspecting wizarding family. They had no idea what to do with her except to raise her and send her off to Hogwarts. But, what they didn't know was that Phoebe had better memory of what happened to her parents.
