Dean knows he messed up when he broke up with Seamus. He's just hoping it's not too late. I know it's unorthodox to post the ending of a story before posting the beginning. Consider this a place-holder. This is the final scene of a much longer story called A Bridge Between Worlds, following Dean from the end of the war through the beginning of a new life with his best friend.
