The Longest War

There never was a prophecy. Voldemort was never vanquished. While everyone, including the Order, cowers under his reign, Hermione Granger makes her entrance to the wizarding world. Even as a young teen, Hermione trains herself and others to become warriors in the war. Finally, at sixteen, she takes the reigns of the resistance. Lily Potter follows suit.
