Mentally scarred from the events of his teenage life, Harry becomes obsessed with the one thing that can bring him release from his perpetually numb existence; pain. He makes a mistake while in pursuit of this release, culminating in a conversation with Death and a chance at a new life. Unfortunately for Harry, Death has no intention of making things simple for him.
