His eyes looked as lively as ever, even though there was a hint of something I couldn't quite place. Maybe it was because we were in the middle of a war; it was hard to find happiness nowadays. But maybe, we could get through the rest of this life together. At least not alone. Maybe... even everything would turn out okay?
