Sometimes, if I close my eyes and concentrate really hard, I hear her innocent laughter, or picture that mischievous glint that always seemed to be present in her eyes...but then my mind reminds me, with soul crushing pain radiating all over my body, that those are luxuries I'll no longer get to experience. And I know, we will never be the same again.
