Midway through Middle Ages, England's growing hatred for France turns into all-consuming lust. He's torn between wanting to destroy her and just wanting her, but he fantasizes vividly about both. France seems either intentionally or unintentionally oblivious to the true nature of England's attitude toward her. In either case, she doesn't mind showing off with Spain around him.
