July 1996. The wizarding world is in turmoil, in particular Draco Malfoy who feels as though his life is sprialling out of control while being forced to conform with his father's desires of continuing the family's legacy. Out of desperation, Draco initiates an encounter with a classmate, deciding to hold on just long enough to make them fall for him. Once they do, he can let go.
