The Ministry is enacting a Marriage Law, forcing purebloods to marry either half-bloods or Muggleborns, in an attempt to eradicate the ancient, 'pure' bloodlines and ensure there can never again be a blood war. Kingsley wants Hermione and Ron to be the poster couple for the new Law. But Hermione wouldn't be Hermione if she didn't rebel against such interference in her love-life...
