(This is a sequel, of sorts, to The Way It Was Meant To Be. Basically, the story so far is that the 13th Doctor is female. Yeah...) She/he stood in the nothingness and the everything, the only defense between It and the universe, playing a game that cannot be won, fighting a battle that will never cease. This is the Doctor's battle, one she will not win. But she will never give up.
