Bonnie was tired of being walked on by everyone, including her former best friend Elena. It took her ex bf taking a chunk out of her to realize Elena has been slowly taking pieces of her all this time. But now Bonnie is in control starting this night. She's reborn and hopefully others like Damon will be reborn too, leaving the parasite Elena alone for good. Future Bamon.
