Inconvenient TiMER

In a world where people have TiMERs installed on their wrists, a person's Timer tells them the DAY that they will meet their soulmate, but not the exact TIME during that day. As one might imagine, this is an important distinction for a pair of assassins (neither of whom believes in soulmates, anyway.)
