Neon Genesis Evangelion

Fifteen years after Second Impact, the world faces its deepest conflict. NERV, a militaristic organization in Japan, drafts young soldiers aged 14 to combat the mysterious organization SEELE and their super soldiers; the Angels. Shinji Ikari is taken from his mundane existence back home and is confronted with a life-threatening task as he learns to come to terms with his existence.
