Fifteen years after the events of Frozen, Kristoff and Anna live alone in Arendelle's castle. Due to losing his lifelong work buddy, Kristoff comes down with a terrible cold, and Anna leaves him for one day to go see Elsa, exactly one year after a tragic loss suffered by the kingdom.
