Before the 5th Grail War, Shirou didn't know a lot of things, he didn't know his past, who his family was, or why he constantly suffered from migraines'. During the Grail War he finds the answers to all of these questions and then some...post-5th Heaven's Feel, he knows anything can be accomplished with a bit of magecraft, a bit of science, and a whole lot of madness on ones side.
