Trapped in the Underworld

After his mother and sister are killed, Hades brings Nico to the Underworld and keeps him there in order to protect him. Nico grows tired of this and keeps sneaking away to the Upper World, to Hades' displeasure. Eventually, he meets someone who he grows close to. Will history repeat in the same way as with Demeter and Persephone?
