Mr. and Mrs. Naegi once worked for the Future Foundation due to their supernatural powers but left to start a family and live quietly, but the Foundation was secretly watching them, and upon discovering that Makoto and Komaru having supernatural powers, they intend to capture them, killing the Naegi parents, and the two siblings are on the run
