A Few Steps Ahead

There would be some advantages to being a student a few years ahead of Harry Potter. A few extra years of reasonably competent Defense Against the Dark Arts Teaching, probably. Approaching the serious stuff that came up from the perspective of somebody at least a little older and a bit wiser. An OC story I am writing for fun, and maybe to explore some fan theories.
