Continuum: A continuous sequence in which adjacent elements are not perceptibly different from each other, although the extremes are quite distinct. Pavel Chekov had no notion of the events that would soon unfold after he woke one seemingly ordinary morning aboard the Enterprise. This day meant something more in the grand scheme of his reality.
