Summary
The brief respite following the defeat of Dagoth Ur on Red Mountain is shattered when the Nerevarine narrowly escapes death at the hands of a Dark Brotherhood assassin for the second time. When Fen and Julan trace the assassin back to Mournhold, they begin to unravel a deadly political plot and find themselves entangled at its heart.
