Lessons Learned

This is a one-shot based off another fanfic story I read. In that story, Harry never returns to Privet Drive at the end of his first Hogwarts year. As I was reading it, I'd the thought of what would the neighbors believe when he fails to return from his 1st year of secondary schooling. Especially since Vernon and Petunia gave two different stories about which school he'd attend.
