Summary
A chance encounter in a forest brings Sesshomaru and Kikyo to join forces. The odds of defeating Naraku can only increase if they travel together, but Kikyo's single-minded purpose will be challenged by the deepening bond between herself and the Demon Lord who offers her something that she has been deprived from throughout both stages of her existence: a choice.
