Watching her brother and his supposed best friend give each other longing glances from across the room and then pretend it was completely platonic made Koyomi want to throw herself out the window. There were many phrases Koyomi could use to describe their relationship (for example, boyfriends or lovesick idiots) but of one thing she was certain: "Best friends" wasn't one of them.
