Bonds of Battle

After the Battle of Helm's Deep Legolas looks out to the battle fields and sees an armour clad child in mourning. He goes out to retrieve the child not only learning that it is a girl, but the very person who saved him twice that day. What follows is a bond of friendship forged in battle. K because I'm paranoid.
