Hermione Granger is visited at the dead of night as a two year old by a strange old lady who sends her back to live and grow up with Tom Riddle, the future Dark Lord. They're both still children, and just started at Hogwarts. With a little company, maybe she could change Voldemort for the better. And it wouldn't hurt to fall in love, too.
