Exactly what it says in the title. Despite everything, Dust was defeated by Gaius before the fight even left the building. Gaius is determined to "save" the Cassius he knows, at any cost. Slightly shippy. Warnings for abuse, character death, and a bunch of unpleasant elements that were already in canon. Oneshot.
