Rin and her brother Kohaku spent every other summer with each parent. The problem was when it was time for Rin to spend her summers with her father, Kokaku's friends, especially Sesshomaru would play practical jokes on her. She leaves for 4 years and spends her holiday break with her father. Sesshomaru comes back into the picture trying to convince her he is a changed person.
