Learning to Lose

Once we turn eighteen, we stop aging until we find our soulmate. We only get seven reincarnations – seven chances to get things right. That is why I must stop this vicious cycle. If I must sacrifice her seven chances so that I may live forever, then so be it. Because I am not hers. I am my own.
