A fairly well-to-do young lady named Piper ventures out into the desert, in the hope of discovering several weird and wonderful things for her current studies back home. Though very unsure of herself when faced with how cruel Egypt and its natives can be, she remains with her head held high and refuses to do as she is told; not willing to leave until she completes her task.
