What happened the night of Anna's rape? Set the night between 4.03 and 4.04. I got the idea when Anna told Mrs. Hughes "I can't let him touch me," and Bates said "I can't come near you." Those lines told me that Bates had tried to touch Anna and possibly apologize for snapping at her in the Servants hall. I'm labeling this with a trigger warning just in case!
