Masquerade

It's only human that we build our shields up to protect us from those who wish to harm us but soon that shield becomes a mask hiding our scars from the world. If we are lucky though, we'll find the one who will see through the mask and see us for who we are, scars and all. Until then, it's just one big masquerade. A/H. Canon. OOC.
