Broken Creatures

When Loki's eye falls on the gardener's new assistant, Zara, he finds himself captivated by her shy nature, and she, in turn, is intrigued that he would even think to look at her. When Loki offers to make her his mistress, in title only if nothing else, she accepts. But a secret plagues her and Loki is in doubt of her loyalty to him, wondering if she would prefer his brother.
