Sequel to The Owl Girl. While hiding from Belos, Luz struggles to master the magic inside her, while a powerless Eda is unable to help her. Being cut off from her friends and school, Luz becomes despondent. Then she befriends a boy that is willing to teach her to use her magic properly.
