A retelling of Mega Man X.1st in the Variables series. A hundred years have passed since the days of the Blue Bomber, but during a dig, Dr. Cain stumbles upon the last of Light's creations. A machine that goes by the title of "Mega Man X". But the future takes a turn for the worse, as some Reploids go "Maverick" and declare war on humans, X must rise and save the world.
